Wecom Fiber, a rapidly expanding broadband provider serving communities across the Southwest, is proud to announce the addition of two accomplished executives to its leadership team: Scott Davis as Chief Revenue Officer and Tory Bauman, CPA, as Chief Financial Officer. These appointments mark a major milestone in Wecom Fiber’s continued investment in growth, innovation, and customer experience.
Wecom Fiber is focused on delivering fast, reliable fiber internet to homes and businesses in underserved and high-growth areas. With a strong foundation in local service and a forward-looking approach to infrastructure and digital transformation, the company is scaling rapidly to meet the region’s increasing demand for high-performance connectivity.
“Tory and Scott bring the kind of leadership that transforms companies,” said Paul Fleming, CEO of Wecom Fiber. “Tory’s financial precision and strategic insight will ensure we scale responsibly and with purpose. Scott’s track record in driving revenue, aligning sales and marketing, and delivering exceptional customer experience is exactly what Wecom needs as we enter our next phase of growth. With them on board, we’re not just building a faster network—we’re building a smarter, stronger company that’s ready to lead.”
Scott Davis joins Wecom Fiber with over 20 years of technology sales leadership, most recently serving as Vice President of Product Management & Customer Experience at Lumen Technologies. There, he led a team of over 1,500 employees and implemented customer-centric strategies that reduced fiber broadband churn and increased Net Promoter Score (NPS) by 15 points in just six months, reaching a +67 score. Davis also championed AI-driven, omnichannel self-service initiatives and aligned Sales, Marketing, and IT to deliver seamless, digital-first customer experiences.
“I’m honored to join Wecom Fiber at such a transformative moment in the broadband industry,” said Scott Davis, Chief Revenue Officer. “With demand for fast, reliable connectivity at an all-time high, we have a unique opportunity to redefine the customer’s experience and scale with purpose. My focus will be on accelerating growth through innovation, aligning our teams around a unified go-to-market strategy, and delivering the kind of personalized, trust-driven service that keeps customers at the heart of everything we do. Together, we’ll build something extraordinary for our customers and communities.”
From 2020 to 2024, Davis served as Vice President & General Manager of Quantum Fiber at Lumen, where he grew the subscriber base to over 1 million and delivered consistent revenue and subscriber growth. His leadership in fiber deployment, sales and marketing, and digital transformation has earned him multiple Circle of Excellence awards. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Davis is an Arizona State University honors graduate and an active community volunteer.
Tory Bauman, CPA, brings over a decade of experience leading high-impact financial operations in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Most recently, she served as Vice President of FP&A at Zayo Group, where she led enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting, executed a $1B+ asset-backed securitization, and managed the financial carve-out of European operations. Her leadership was instrumental in aligning financial strategy with long-term business objectives and enhancing stakeholder value.
“I’m excited to join Wecom Fiber at such a pivotal time in its growth journey,” said Tory Bauman, Chief Financial Officer. “The company’s commitment to innovation and expanding access to high-speed connectivity aligns perfectly with my passion for building financially strong, forward-thinking organizations. I look forward to partnering with the leadership team to drive strategic investments, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver long-term value to our customers and stakeholders.”
Bauman’s career includes CFO consulting for private equity-backed ventures, senior finance roles at Zayo Group, and early experience at KPMG.
