Wecom Fiber announced it was awarded more than $42 million by the State of Arizona to connect around 10,500 homes and businesses in Coconino County with high-speed broadband.
The company’s project in Coconino County will bring multi-gig, fiber broadband to rural areas in and around Flagstaff, Munds Park, Forest Lakes, Williams, Parks, Sedona, Bellemont and more. Wecom Fiber’s project is part of a statewide effort to eliminate the divide that has hampered rural communities across Arizona that lack access to reliable, high-speed broadband.
